This position assists in the day to day management of dispatch operations for the Oregon Department of Forestry, USDA Forest Service, Bureau of Land Management, National Park Service and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. The Wildland Fire Supervisor plays a key role in the ODF fire protection program by being directly responsible for assuring that the goals and objectives are met relating to dispatch and resource ordering for the district.
