This position will be responsible for providing critical wildland fire support during the wildfire season as an Engine Leader. When not engaged in fire suppression activities, the Specialist will be responsible for delivering on key forest health treatment activities including, but not limited to prescribed fire prep, planning, implementation, and monitoring; fuels mitigation and management including piling and burning, thinning and treatment area flagging, and related activities; etc.
