Name of event: The Periwinkle Wade. Date and Time: August 13th, 10:00 AM-1:00 PM. Meet at: Periwinkle Grade School Parking Lot, 2196 21st Ave SE, Albany, Oregon. Job: Clean up storm damage and overgrown shrubs and bushes from both sides of the stream. Most work will be done on the edge of the creek, but there may be places where volunteers will get to work while standing in the creek as well. So waders or protective footwear would be helpful.
