This position requires field work in forested settings with uneven and sometimes steep terrain. Inclement weather is possible and may be worked in when conditions allow for a safe working environment. The field sites are also known to have stinging insects and small amounts of poison oak. We expect candidates to be available to work a 40-hour week, with full days spent outdoors. The ability to carry up to 40 pounds of equipment and samples over uneven terrain is required.
