Laboratory work includes duties such as glassware washing, sample sorting, weighing, processing, extracting, and data entry/database management. Hands-on training for processing and analyzing plant and soil samples to determine carbon and nutrient cycling in Oregon forests is provided. Some field work may be available depending on class schedules. Must be able to lift/carry up to 40-50 lbs.
