The Deputy State Forester exists as part of the Executive Team of the Oregon Department of Forestry which is responsible for organizational leadership and management of the department, directly supporting the Oregon Board of Forestry’s mission and the agency’s mission. This position is appointed by, reports to and serves at the discretion of the State Forester.
