The incumbent supports senior planners and may engage independently in closely supervised research, design, or other assigned tasks; or provides technical planning assistance, coordination, and support on cooperative conservation and outdoor recreation planning projects for the National Park Service Rivers, Trails, and Conservation Assistance Program working with government agencies, non-profit organizations, tribes and community groups.
