This is a position with primary responsibility for implementation of Timber Sale Preparation including cutting unit boundary lay out, timber marking and cruising on the West Zone of the Carson National Forest and for the Rio Chama CFLRP landscape. Conducts timber cruises and surveys within varying stand conditions to locate and estimate the quantity of timber on a given area, according to species, type, and quality.
