These positions would work with staff foresters and technicians to prepare Forest Service timber sales for a contract where forest treatments would be completed with commercial logging. This work involves identifying treatment boundaries, planning site specific logging systems, mapping units with high accuracy GPS units, tree marking, measurement of trees to calculate timber volumes, and other duties to complete work for a timber sale contract.
