Responsible for the coordination of academy sessions. Includes virtual and in-person instruction. Coordination may involve selection of cadre, course material organization, and course scheduling. Instruction may include the delivery of fire training courses and activities for DNR employees and external agencies. Maintains public and government relations by working directly with counties, rural fire districts, other agencies, MOU agencies, and fire cooperatives.
