This position provides guidance to SFLO staff and small forest landowners on forest management's impact on fish, wildlife, and habitats. It offers technical assistance to help landowners understand and apply Forest Practices riparian rules, prepare Forest Practices Applications (FPAs), and address related issues, including landowner alternate plans and long-term applications. Professional judgment and expertise are used to support sustainable forest practices.
