DNR’s grant programs provide financial assistance to: --Local fire districts – Providing both equipment and operational funding. --Communities throughout Washington State – Increasing the health of our state's forests and preparing for and reducing wildland fire risks. --Land Owners – Grants to increase forest health and decrease wildland fire risks. To be successful in this position you not only need an understanding of federal and state grants, but you’ll need to be a great collaborator.
