Field work will entail vehicle travel to sites on the Ochoco and Malheur National Forests, hiking on uneven ground to plot locations and carrying field equipment necessary for establishing monitoring plots. Candidates should be prepared for field work in variable weather and will be expected to comply with US Forest Service guidelines for work conducted on national forest lands.
