Fellowship Position for monitoring herbicide effects on threatened Oregon Coast butterflies: The Newport USFWS field office is specifically looking for a student to fulfill this position. The Fellow will be integral is leading the effort to implement a new, assertive approach to address unknown effects of herbicide on the threatened Oregon silverspot butterfly and its habitat, a key understanding necessary to move forward with best management practices for its recovery.
