Under the direction of the Unit Manager, candidate is responsible for implementing on the ground forestry and timber harvesting activities, road location, silviculture and other related management activities to meet harvest and long-term productivity goals. This includes harvest unit layout and design, road location, slash disposal and site preparation activities and other field related responsibilities. Assists Unit Manager with timberland fire protection and security.
