This position ensures the region has fully trained and qualified wildland fire suppression staff and serves as the key contact for guiding and maintaining positive relationships with federal and local wildland fire partners. The Fire Operations District Manager works under the guidance of all applicable collective bargaining agreements for the positions it supervises, and all other applicable laws, rules, regulations, and agency policies, procedures, and guidelines.
