Volunteer outdoor conservation field technician roles are available across Oregon, Washington, and northern California national forests and BLM managed lands. Volunteer conservation field technicians will hike into forests to place and retrieve passive acoustic monitoring devices to capture wildlife sound data. They will play a direct role in data collection efforts that inform real-world research, conservation decisions, and policy. Project locations span federally managed lands and require off
