This position is responsible for communicating agency, region, and district goals and responsibilities, including, but not limited to, environmental protection, recreation, fire control, and forest management activities. It also requires active participation in outreach and education efforts, including the volunteer program, organized events, user groups, neighbor and community education, and the Region’s law enforcement program as it pertains to public use within the assigned geographic areas.
