As the Geologist in this position, you will: Administer the leasable, locatable, fluid, and saleable minerals program for 4.6 million acres of public land in southeastern Oregon Process applications for exploration, mining, or utilization of mineral resources Inspect active operations for compliance with permit terms Serve on an interdisciplinary team as a subject matter expert on geology and minerals.
