The Fuels Specialist reviews and approves fuels reduction/forest health projects, keeps records, tracks deliverables, and integrates mobile GIS technology. This position will provide landowners with fire prevention information, Firewise education, forest health education/outreach, residential risk assessment, and fuels reduction guidance and ensure that section foresters are adequately trained in fuels reduction objectives/goals and forest health program implementation.
