This position will assist the District Silviculturist to implement fuel reduction, tree planting, and timber stand improvement projects. These job duties involve developing and overseeing saw contracts for fuel reduction and thinning, layout and mapping of areas for contracts, creating maps, implementation of tree planting contracts, working with contractors to meet contract specifications and project objectives, and database/accomplishment reporting.
