In this position, you will work on a small team and assist a graduate student in establishing monitoring plots and collecting forest health data related to insect defoliation outbreaks in southeast Alaska. Work will be based out of Juneau, Alaska, but will involve regular travel throughout the region. This is a collaborative project with the Bisbing Forest Ecology and Silviculture Lab at University of Nevada, Reno and the US Forest Service Pacific Northwest Research Station.
