This position is responsible for providing critical wildland fire support or firefighter training during the wildfire season as an Engine Captain. When not engaged in fire suppression/training activities, the Forest Health Engine Captain is responsible for delivering on key forest health treatment activities including, but not limited to prescribed fire prep, planning and implementation, monitoring fuels mitigation and management.
