Working with the region’s State Lands team, the duties of this position include providing support for fish and wildlife management within DNR’s Olympic Region and consulting with staff from the region’s timber sale, engineering, recreation, and asset management programs. Consultations include old-growth assessments, stand development stage assessments, wetland delineation, stream typing, and more.
