This position works to aid in processing and classification of remote sensing data efforts across hydrology, forestry and land cover projects. The Associate Technician is able to produce accurate and precise data in a consistent and timely manner. Primary duties of an Associate Technician in the Biophysical Analytics group includes classification and creation of GIS data through photo-interpretation, and vector digitizing.
