The Arcadia Assistant Fire Management Officer – Suppression is one of two primary supervisors for the Arcadia District’s seasonal firefighting team. Under the direction of the Fire Management Officer, the Assistant Fire Management Officer (AFMO) will have great influence on the quality, image, and message delivered to the general public of Washington State. This position works closely with partners and other agencies, and is a primary leadership role in fire suppression activities.
