Incumbent serves as the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA)/Appeals & Litigation coordinator. Plans, directs, and advises personnel on compliance efforts regarding (NEPA), regulations of the President's Council on Environmental Quality (CEQ), the National Forest Management Act (NFMA), the Forest Plan, and Forest Service Policy.
