This position is part of a two-person land survey crew working under the direction of the Region Surveyor. DNR Surveyors are responsible for providing land boundary and topographic mapping for the DNR on State Trust lands within Whatcom, Skagit, San Juan, and Snohomish counties. This is almost exclusively a field position and involves the use of state-of-the-art survey-grade GNSS receivers, a robotic total station, and field data collection software.
