Course Description: 

FE 444. FOREST REMOTE SENSING AND PHOTOGRAMMETRY. (4)

Introduction to spectral reflectance, photogrammetry, image analysis, and point clouds. Fundamentals of data acquisition with passive and active sensors installed on airborne and spaceborne platforms. Radar and lidar in forestry.

Prerequisites: FE 257 and (MTH 112, 241, 251, 251H, 252 or 252H) and (PH 201 or 211).
A minimum grade of C is required in FE 257, MTH 112, MTH 241, MTH 251, MTH 251H, MTH 252, MTH 252H, PH 201 and PH 211.
