Course Description:
Soil strength and soil mechanics theories applied to analysis of slope stability, retaining structures, foundations, and pavements. Lec/lab.
Prerequisites: FE 315* or CE 372 (may be taken concurrently).
A minimum grade of C- is required in FE 315.
A minimum grade of D- is required in CE 372.
